Bird on a Wire x
St Francis Primary
We were super excited to have our friends at Bird on a Wire join the Almighty Garden Squad recently. We met up with co-founder, Sophie, for some gardening action and a delicious lunch cooked by the clever kids at St Francis Primary. We’re still dreaming about the feijoa apple crumble muffins made with fresh fruit from Mrs Booth’s (St Francis Principal) feijoa tree… sensational!
When it comes to shaking well and doing good, the team behind Auckland’s favourite free-range chicken institution certainly do just that. As well as volunteering at St Francis, Bird supports a range of charities including Auckland Women’s Refuge, Auckland City Mission and Nga Rangitahi Toa. Amazing.
Bird offers an epic menu of free-range rotisserie chickens, sandwiches, burgers, salads and soups as well as a kickass list of bastes and sauces including Jamaican Jerk, Salsa Verde, Korean BBQ and Champignon Truffle Butter, among other delights… Hungry yet?
